There have been some exciting new developments in the Dean campaign recently:
Call to Action blog: Man, Dean is a master of the internet! This blog is really not very different than his actual campaign website, but he (or someone working for him) understands that blogs are a form of expression on the internet, distinctly different from official websites. It's a great idea and its so grassroots in a funny modern way (he even links Bradley's Almanac).

Dean tied with Kerry in NH: For a second time Dean is tied with Kerry in the polls in New Hampshire. What's more important is that Kerry is worried, so worried that he finally made some strong comments against the war/Bush and then got slammed for them by DeLay. Kerry said: "what we need now is not just a regime change in Saddam Hussein and Iraq, but we need a regime change in the United States." - which is the kind of comments Dean has been making all along, which is the difference between Dean and Kerry and why Dean is not being criticized - Dean is consistent - I couldn't tell you what Kerry's stand is on the war, he makes so many contradictory and hedged comments.

OH and WOO HOO CUSE!!!! That block by Warrick at the end was beautiful. Anthony said: "He came out of nowhere, like he had Twizzler hands or something. Once he blocked that shot, I knew the game was over." They really had us worried at the end, but it was worth it. What was that little chicken dance that Boeheim did at the end?

My husband picks on me about my devotion to Dean, but I am typical for Dean supporter. He inspires a cult-like devotion that makes the grassroots aspect of his campaign actually work. The supporters I talk to are simply amazed that they have a candidate that they feel really good about supporting.
I certainly would support Kerry if he won the nomination, but I just support Dean more and I think he does appeal to a wider spectrum of Democrats (the greens can get behind his environmental policy, the lefts can get behind his health care policy, the centrists are happy with his fiscal responsibility and gun control stance, and I think everyone can get behind his foreign policy and civil rights platform).
