LOVE the Rose Bowl, what did you find?? I miss it so much.
And dim sum, and walking super far on Sunset in good weather, and downtown, and the Getty, and the beach.
I don't know if you have time or geographic opportunity, but a few other things i totally love are hiking in Griffith Park up around the Observatory, about an hour or a bit more up and back (through one of the big entrances in Los Feliz, the one with the Berlin bear, and up into the trails), and eating at Clifton's downtown at 7th and Broadway.
I'm doing Griffith on Saturday! loreofcure recommended a taco stand in Los Feliz I will probably hit up for dinner. I want to do the hike and see everything else there so I'm making a day of it!
oh, cool. LOVE hiking up there. We used to go a couple times a week, just walking right out the front door of our apartment and heading uphill.
Is it Yuca's? I also liked a couple others, one called Casa Diaz and the other I can't remember but it's on Vermont between Hollywood and Sunset next to a car wash. You pretty much can't go wrong with tacos in LA, obviously :)
