Vesalius' "On the Fabric of the Human Body." I may have squeeled.

A Gutenberg Bible. No Biggie.

Isaac Newton's own copy of The Principia

Editions of The Origin of Species, shelved over first editions of Lamarck, Cuvier, etc.

A pop-up book on pregnancy

Just a sampling, there were first edition Shakespeares, a copy of the thirteenth amendment, the bill of sale for Manhattan, a King James Bible, etc. etc.

Aztalan was a Mississippi Mound settlement (the farthest north they have been documented) that flourished from 900-1200 AD in South Central Wisconsin.

It is close to the Crawfish River, where this lovely tree provided a romantic nook to spend some time on my birthday

There were lots of beautiful wildflowers that reminded me of back home

And a lot of reconstructed stockade walls
