Sansweet on Upcoming Star Wars Projects

Steve Sansweet, Lucasfilm's Head of Fan Relations, talked about upcoming "Star Wars" events today at the San Diego Comic-Con in front of a huge crowd. He said that the "Star Wars" animated series is now scheduled to premiere in 2008 and the live action series sometime before 2010.

Cullen is the Voice of Optimus Prime

The original voice of Transformers' Optimus Prime, Peter Cullen, will also voice the character in Paramount's anticipated big screen adaptation. Cullen made the announcement over the phone during the studio's presentation at the San Diego Comic-Con today.
Transformers, directed by Michael Bay, hits theaters on July 4, 2007.

Which reminds me, we saw the Transformers trailer before POTC2 and at first I thought it was boring and then I thought about it and enjoyed the irony of "hey this is the highest robot technology we've got! how about you? SHIT!"
