Harrisville has become my favorite vendor at Rhinebeck. Every year they have limited edition patterns that I drool over. The sweater I'm just finishing is from them and I picked up this pattern this year. It's pretty basic, but I've never done grafting like this before, so I'll learn something new too. I'm going to go with cheaper yarn this year though - what do ya'll think for a color? I'm almost inclined to go basic heather grey? Maybe something from KnitPicks? Other than DK weight, I'm open to anything.

Super cute! I’ve used both Gloss and CityTweed from KP and liked them (in different weights but both come in DK) ... the Gloss pilled faster than I’d like, but I think it was my carelessness in washing the garment. If you want to go a little more expensive Madelinetosh would be amazing ... the simplicity of the pattern would really show off color gradations.

Ooh, that's all very useful - thank you! I think the reason I like the Harrisville patterns so much is that they really show off the yarn (makes since, since they are a mill, but still).
