This morning:

Trying to not get my hopes up, as she is still making the weird noise when she eats and takes a long time eating every kibble, but she has been going back to the dish quite a bit since around 1:30 AM and is in good spirits (after the first trip back she went under her chair and I called her over and she happily jumped up on the bed and did so after every visit to the food dish after that). I wish she would eat the wet food - it's maximum calorie and easier to eat - but she doesn't even glance at it when I put it down.

aw, yay! did you try microwaving the wet food? warming it up just a bit makes it smell more.

I tried that - she's just never liked wet food, or treats, or table scraps. She's a weirdo.

I'm not sure if you're giving her prescription stuff, but if you're ok to feed anything, some people swear cats will eat chicken/turkey baby food (no additives) or adding tuna fish broth (no additives like salt or HFCS) to the wet food will help. Otherwise getting the cheapest grocery store crap you can find (the stinkier the better) might get them interested in trying the better quality stuff you have. ANything to help draw their attention to tasting it.

Otherwise, maybe watering/brothing down the dry stuff she likes would make it easier to eat?
