Yoshimi update

I brought Yoshimi in again today. Her feeding tube was definitely dislodged in some way, explaining her irritation and vomiting. They took her off the medicine that has making her vomit and switched her to a more fattening food. I'm waiting to hear on the blood panel. At this point, my hope is that without the Denamarin, I can feed her more and more often and get her weight up and then we can take the tube out and hold our breath. If she doesn't resume eating, I have to consider putting her to sleep...

Oh, I was wondering if putting her to sleep was going to come up. This is so heart-breaking. I hope this recent issue will be resolved now that the feeding tube is corrected. I'm so so so sorry that this has been on your plate for over a month, especially because it's not just chores that keep you at home-- it's love of a creature, a companion in your home, that's keeping you constantly nursing and working towards her health.

Oh, she's hungry and tries to eat, but there is something obviously keeping her from eating more than one or two kibbles at a time - let alone not throwing it up afterwards.
