Tyvek suit, respirator, dishwashing gloves. How much more PPE could those investigators possibly be wearing? Also keep in mind that it is probably really freaking hot there in the jungles of sub-saharan Africa and wearing as much as they are is probably already really freaking uncomfortable. I think they've got on plenty. Especially since I am sure that they are aware of the proper wound care measures to minimize the chance of infection if anyone does get injured.
