i knew a dane in highschool who was arrested for getting drunk in his car (he was 16) and arguing with the cops about how in europe, he could drink all the time. i remember him saying "next time i'll buy cheap beer so when they pour it out, it won't be so bad." that totally jives with the article you posted- how funny (and sad!)
