So Dub Dub plans to have tens of thousand of Iraqi civilians either bleeding out their ears or dead by the weekend. I'm so proud to be an American. As the administration continues to insist that "smart bombs" will not kill civilians, the simple fact is, that in the past ten years the increased use of them has led to an increase in civilian deaths, not a decrease. Of course, our sorry excuse for a national media will not be covering that war, they might get their new khakis dirty.

As for me, I'll be attending the Howard Dean speech a the JFK library on Wednesday, March 26. Go to their website for the phone number to call to reserve a seat.
Here is a link to Dean's anti-war stance.
"Going to war pre-emptively has a very high moral threshold. Other countries will look to us as an example of what is permissible. My concern is what this is going to do to the cooperation and multilateral institutions that we’ve built up in this world for the last 50 years." - Howard Dean, March 9

My friend is coming home from France soon. As he put it, "I will leave one of the most optimistic cities in the world where the people believe in solving the problems that lead to conflict. I will return to the most blood-thirsty nation in the world."
