Mar. 18th, 2003 09:55 amSo Dub Dub plans to have tens of thousand of Iraqi civilians either bleeding out their ears or dead by the weekend. I'm so proud to be an American. As the administration continues to insist that "smart bombs" will not kill civilians, the simple fact is, that in the past ten years the increased use of them has led to an increase in civilian deaths, not a decrease. Of course, our sorry excuse for a national media will not be covering that war, they might get their new khakis dirty.
As for me, I'll be attending the Howard Dean speech a the JFK library on Wednesday, March 26. Go to their website for the phone number to call to reserve a seat.
Here is a link to Dean's anti-war stance.
"Going to war pre-emptively has a very high moral threshold. Other countries will look to us as an example of what is permissible. My concern is what this is going to do to the cooperation and multilateral institutions that we’ve built up in this world for the last 50 years." - Howard Dean, March 9
