A restaurant owner acquaintance of mine (who just got to host David Sedaris as a special customer during his book tour) used to do a newspaper column where she'd go to people's houses and show them how to use what was already in their cupboard to plan meals. This looks as much fun. Also isn't this Saturday US mail carrier canned food drive day? You could give your mail carrier anything else you have on hand.
Also just reading your title now my brain keeps wondering the provenance of Cupboard as it's really not a board and frequently doesn't hold cups!
