It's unclear, isn't it. The point of the article seems to be that we really need to use science to determine the truths of so many reasonble-sounding things. Yet the other two categories (not proven; factual) suggest that MYTHS = disproven.

On the whole, I agree with the point that careful research is only helpful, and we sure could use more of it in this area.
