Dub Dub

You know, I love politics. I'm a news junkie. But I CANNOT stand press conferences, state of union addresses, and most debates. Bush on the aircraft carrier last night? Come On. The Nation did a nice little article on Dub Dub's "military service record." He's a little boy trying to play with big boy toys and live up to his father's actual distinguished service for his country. Plus he screwed up my Thursday night television viewing. Bastard.

Yeah, and at least the Sox timed their game well, they finished up just about when Bush did.
Wonder who is getting killed on CSI next week? Probably some cop.

The best comment of Bush's little plane/boat trip was made on Australian breakfast television. When he walked between the two lines of guys in multi coloured outfits - the TV announcer exclaimed "Look, the President just met the Wiggles."

Here is a comprehensive listing of problems with Junior's so-called military career:

That was great! I especially liked his business record. They tell Harvard Business school students in their ethics classes that 10 of them will be jail by their twenty year reunion, maybe they should make that 9 and one in the white house?
best quote though: "We have found no evidence to support the the most explosive allegation so far; that Bush played air guitar to a Foghat record at a party in the late 1970s. But he won't deny it, either."
