Red Sox fans are a rare breed - they hate their team more than anyone else could. Or as Dan Shaughnessy said on Boston.com: "Let's look at the bright side: The Red Sox are going to sell a lot of hot dogs in the late innings."

I was at the game last night and you should have heard all the "boos" for Mendoza.... Plus Rocco Baldelli who is a R.I. native had a big fan base at the game... so there was a large group of people cheering him on.. which made everyone else start yelling at them and throwing peanuts... it was just another day in the bleachers at fenway.

The best part was Theo Epstein sitting directly behind the home plate with his arms crossed a scowl on his face. I guess that's one perk of running the team.

Did you notice I picked up the Rocco guy from Tampa Bay on the Fantasy League? He's batting .600!
