I still can't get over how beautiful the Jumbo Rocks campground was:



Or how some of the rocks at the Lost Palms Oasis looked like Jabba the Hutt:



Or how tight some of the hiking was:



Or how exhausting the hike out of Lost Palms was...



I also forgot about these beetles - who, when threatened bury their head in the dirt and supposedly release an odor to scare away predators (we didn't smell anything):



But it was all worth it:

So pretty! We're considering a trip to Joshua Tree for our honeymoon. If I can get the time off I would love to take two weeks and drive there and go to Palm Springs too.
