I think that it's true that hilary definately was/is paving the way and that she is an extremely admirable person. I think that it's completly unfair how she was and still is being treated by everyone - the media in particular - and it's disgraceful that this nation couldn't accept her as a person and had to look down their noses at her as a woman. However, I also believe that it's completely unfair to think that obama's not also paving the way. (though I realize that the article simply omitted that rather than say he isn't) Racism is also a huge huge issue in this country and I think that the people who are so willing to fight for femism should also be willing to fight against racism just as hard. We have a black man running for president for the first time and his policies are just as good as hilary's (if not better in some cases imho) and though I agree that the democratic party is full of shit, we still need to stand behind obama now that he has the nomination because really, that's just as huge an accomplishment as hilary's nomination would have been.
