In the UK subtitles (closed captioning) are available for the majority of programming and an increasing number of programmes also have in-vision signing in BSL. The signed programmes tend to be shown late at night or on digital (but free to air) channels. This is in addition to See Hear, the BBCs long running magazine programme for the deaf community.
