Finished Baby Sweater!

This weekend I finished the X's and O's baby sweater! I've blocked mom and dad from seeing it here and on FB. I started it in March and it was a rather hard pattern, but by the end I had I had it memorized. antarcticlust did the finishing button holes for me because it was a crochet pattern.

i love baby sweaters with the button up shoulders...a handy way to get a sweater on and off a wiggling spawn, i'm sure!

Yes! Plus, his wife is a knitter, so she's not going to throw it in the washing machine or dryer!

that's awesome. i always include a little "dude, seriously, DON'T THROW THIS IN THE WASHER" note with my handknits now. unless it's one of the acrylic/wool mixes that i actually like - some of those do okay in the delicate cycle.
